Description
Single-screw testing machines are mainly used for tests that impose particularly high demands on load frame stiffness. Typical applications include low cycle fatigue tests, creep tests, fracture mechanics tests, and tests on springs and ceramics.
Versions
The single-screw testing machine is available in 100 and 250 kN versions
Setup
- It is equipped with a central drive screw, allowing for a highly favorable force-flow to be achieved during the test, with direct load application to the specimen.
- Due to this design the load frame has a very high stiffness.
